I had an emergency C-section for the delivery of my twins due to pre-eclampsia. I would like to recognize a few star nurses who saved my life and provided extraordinary care. I would also like to nominate Kelly. Kelly is who got me through the nights that followed my traumatic birth. I will never forget one night, after my IV infiltrated in the CT scanner, and I was crying and feeling like a complete failure. Kelly made me laugh during one of the worst nights of my life. She not only has the most comforting bedside manner, but she also swiftly recognized a potential problem and acted quickly to ensure I was okay. Kelly, thank you from the bottom of my heart for getting me through the roughest week of my life. Words cannot express what your care meant to me.
