Dr. Martin is an incredible role model for all nursing students who come through the nursing program at Baker College. Not only does she exemplify the traits of an incredible nurse, but she exceptional educator as well. Dr. Martin is always willing to help regardless of the situation, timing, or person. She has a true servant's heart and deserves to be recognized for all of her efforts. I have had the pleasure of working with Dr. Martin as part of the SNA (Student Nurses Association). Throughout my time in the SNA, she has provided guidance while promoting student leadership and autonomy. She strives for excellence and has an immense amount of faith in her students and the program. Kelly is the definition of a Nurse Role Model. She has made a huge impact on my nursing school experience and the experience of my cohort. Thank you Dr. Martin for all you do every day.

Dr. Martin has proven time and time again her commitment to nursing students and Baker College as a whole. We recently had several major changes occur on our campus and Dr. Martin has stepped in and assisted in working through these unexpected challenges. She has spent countless hours revamping the schedule, coordinating faculty schedules, and troubleshooting unexpected obstacles all while keeping the students at the center of her focus. She is extremely supportive of both faculty and students. She not only embodies what it means to be a holistic leader but she serves as a role model for both faculty and students. Thank you!
