When my daughter was a patient in the ED this nurse was patient and kind and took time to understand that my daughter was not only there with some mental health issues, but when I expressed that my daughter had boundary and sensory problems, she listened to each thing I told her and kept that in mind every time she went in to address needs with her. She was also kind and understanding with me. Even when I went out to speak with her, she still showed patience and respect. She did not get that impatient with me or that annoyed look that we have gotten from other care teams in the past. Which allowed me to trust that I could go home and rest for work that evening and my daughter would be okay. My daughter also expressed how grateful she was that she could trust her.
