Kelly displays what caring for others truly means. She never forgets a name or face. She welcomes and talks to patients who were hospitalized from a year ago. Just last week, I watched her wrap her arms around a very anxious patient and explained the procedure so that the patient can have a better understanding. She has taken the initiative to get certified in her department so that she can be the best nurse possible. Kelly is an Extraordinary Nurse by choice, and we are very lucky to have her in our department.
