My daughter got diagnosed in Jan of 2020 and started radiation that month. And that's how we met this nurse. She is the best nurse we have ever met. She is always smiling and spreading hope and positive energy to everyone around her. My daughter loves her. She used to love coming to do her radiation so she can see her, and she would always ask about her. This nurse would take the time to talk to her, listen to her and laugh with her. She would explain things to my daughter and she would trust her. It was the darkest time of my life and my daughter suffered through a lot, but this nurse was a light in that darkness. Even after she finished radiation, we still visited her whenever we were at St. Jude. And we do come down to St Jude for follow up and she would ask if she will be there and get excited that she would see her. She is an amazing nurse and a wonderful human being. We love you Kelly and you have been a part of our family and our journey for the last two years.
