Kelly is compassionate. A patient advocate, Kelly was found going above and beyond while discharging a patient from the unit. After a patient and wife went to a local pharmacy to have his prescriptions filled, the wife called Kelly in an attempt to get the prescriptions corrected. Kelly spoke with the local pharmacy and the physician many times over the next several hours. When she exhausted all resources, Kelly followed up with the House Shift Supervisor to arrange a new prescription to be filled by Allegiance Health Pharmacy to be picked up the next day.
