We cannot express our gratitude enough to Kelly Shute, RN, for being an advocate for our father. While he had an extensive medical history, she recognized the underlying problems like low sodium, low RBCs, and hemoglobin. She went to bat for him to ensure that he received the appropriate and necessary treatments. She advocated for him to the hospitalists regarding multiple healthcare needs. As a retired medical professional, I personally cannot be more grateful for our elderly father not falling through the cracks without someone looking closer at the problems. We are proud that she stepped up and took the care and consideration of our loved one as though he were her own. Please add a communication to her file about her exceptional bedside manner, patient care, and her role as a true caregiver and patient advocate. May God Bless.
