Kelly was nominated for her extra act of kindness by her coworker who wrote that after working a 12 hour night shift, Kelly stopped to assist with a car accident on I-71. Kelly stayed with the woman until EMS arrived. While with the accident victim, Kelly reassured the woman she was going to be okay and used her nursing skills to keep the woman safe and stable. The woman was life flighted to Metro Health. This nurse came to see the patient that evening. The accident victim told Kelly that she was her guardian angel.
