Kelly was assigned as the nurse in charge of my 86-year-old husband during his difficult recovery from a broken femur.

Kelly: assessed her assignment thoroughly upon arrival at our home. Made sure we knew how to reach her between visits if needed. Was extremely supportive and provided my husband's care in a professional and caring manner. Took the time to get to know him first as an individual than as a patient. Took the time to be supportive of me and recognize the trouble I was in as the caretaker before even I realized how much help I needed. Provided medical support for her patient. Provided the comfort and compassion that the patient and caregiver both needed. Was always available to answer all questions and concerns. Checked medications regularly to ensure proper adherence to usage. Followed up on her suggestions to improve the comfort of her patient during this journey to recovery.

We began to look forward to Kelly's visits and this allowed the three of us to develop an incredible relationship. We have made a new friend and we will miss Kelly when she moves on to her next assignment.
