Kelly Sue Carlsson, RN

Kelly Sue is one of the most caring, compassionate, empathetic, and positive nurses in our department. Kelly Sue not only cares for her team but goes above and beyond for every patient who enters the doors of CCH. I hear her connecting with patients on the phone and makes personal arrangements to comfort them at the doors upon arrival. Kelly Sue actually came into work on her day off to meet a patient she promised. This wonderful nurse is so bubbly that patients, family members, and other departments look forward to seeing and talking to her. The over the top compassion has impacted our team so positively, they feel empowered to go above and beyond. Not a day goes by that Kelly Sue doesn’t live the Exceptional Lee Promise.

Most recently, Kelly Sue connected with a housekeeper. After a conversation, the housekeep discussed how she has to take an Uber to and from work which costs $20.00 per day. Kelly Sue told her that she would bring her to work and made arrangements to bring her to work. Kelly Sue is one of the most caring, compassionate, and thoughtful nurses I have ever met. We are blessed to have her.
