It is hard to find words to express what an incredible nurse Kelly is. Kelly has been my infusion nurse for chemotherapy treatment for stage 2b invasive breast cancer over the last 4.5 months. The impact Kelly has had on me will stay with me forever. She is so upbeat and positive and gave me a whole new perspective on my cancer diagnosis. There were several days I went into treatment with a bad attitude and feeling defeated but as soon as Kelly would come in her energy was infectious and she would have me smiling and laughing in no time. Kelly is more than a nurse, she listens to you, validates your feelings, encourages you, empowers you, is incredibly knowledgeable, and was one of my biggest cheerleaders. This is just a small way I can recognize her and her dedication to her patients. She is literally helping save my life.
