Kelon McFarlane, RN
Kelon made the care and experience of being in the hospital exceptional!
His bedside manner, kindness, eagerness to assist in communicating with doctors on medication, adjusting how often she received her pain medication, helping adjust her for comfort due to pain in her shoulder, changing her pad and Purewick, regular check-ins (never had to find him or use the call button). He was always attentive, happy, gentle, and caring.
You may be reading this and determine that’s a nurse's job, but Kelon is so much more. He’s exceptional! His love of care goes above and beyond that of other nurses. Kelon was my mom's nurse three of the six days she was here. We loved him and really appreciate everything he did for my mom.
We wish him all the best in his future endeavors. He’s an incredible asset to the hospital, and you can be proud of his level of exceptional care!
