Kelsey Althoff went above and beyond to ensure we always knew what was happening while at Greenville Hospital. She was patient, knowledgeable, and just generally great at her job. Kelsey’s mood was always pleasant, calm, and attentive. She never made us feel like a bother or like she had other patients waiting, which she obviously did. While in the hospital, a mass was found in my scans in my lungs. Kelsey did not give us any medical answers, but talked with us with basic answers, reassurance, and facts from oncology workers. She was clear that she could not diagnose, but she listened and gave us instances where treatment and other methods were successful. Also gave us instances where it was not cancer at all. She knew we were worried, and she was a good listener! No diagnosis, just listening and understanding. She is a gem! Kelsey has found her calling for sure! She made a scary situation not so bad.
