Kelsey and I were taking care of a patient with advanced cancer. She had no family. Her cancer was no longer responding to the chemo and her organs were shutting down. She elected for comfort care. She was alone and Kelsey spent as much time with her, talking to her, doing anything she could for her so that she would not feel like she was dying alone. Kelsey's compassion and attention to detail for this woman were so impressive and amazing. I was blown away. Kelsey is an amazing, outstanding nurse whom I am honored to work with.
