Kelsey may be young and very new to her job but she showed skills and qualities far superior to her older more experienced mentors, on the 3rd floor. The care that she gave my brother during his transition from CVU to Level 3, then hospice care on level 3 until his passing was exemplary. She was incredibly compassionate even though she was, in our opinion, overtaxed with far too many patients for one individual. She never once complained or let my brother's care lapse because of it. Kelsey is now and I am certain will continue to be an exceptional nurse!! McLaren Northern Michigan is LUCKY to have Kelsey!
