Kelsey Crisp, BSN, RN, E-EFM

Kelsey continually provides her patients with gentle, reassuring care during intense labor and deliveries at The Baby Place. One of her recent patients was very grateful to Kelsey for being calm and professional during what turned out to be a serious medical situation. As someone with anxiety, this patient was very relieved that Kelsey was able to calmly explain the situation to her. Kelsey’s professionalism and bedside manner made the patient feel comfortable and focused throughout her labor and delivery.

The patient shares, “Kelsey stood out with her overall bedside manner and intelligent answers to my questions. I am very grateful to this wonderful team who made sure I felt safe, secure, and maintained my dignity during a very exposing and vulnerable situation.”

Kelsey’s patient nominated her for this award, but also points out her gratitude to her entire nursing team that helped her through the experience. She says, “During what could have been a very traumatic experience for me, my nursing team stayed kind, calm, and professional. The hospital should be glad they are on the team.”
