Kelsey went above and beyond with a very difficult patient. The patient was very reluctant to have her toe amputated even though several physicians told her it was the best course of treatment. Kelsey sat with the patient and discussed her reluctance, concerns, and answered her many questions. The patient decided after the conversation to follow the physician's recommendations. Dr. M from infectious disease was so impressed with Kelsey’s compassion and care for this patient, she contacted many in administration to rave about her. Kelsey is an exceptional nurse and this is just one example of her going above and beyond for her patients.
