Kelsey went the extra mile to get an autopsy for a patient’s baby so they could check to see why she keeps having miscarriages. It is hard enough dealing with a second loss, let alone trying to deal with the reasoning that the loss happened. Kelsey took the time to call the insurance company and pathology for her to ensure that the autopsy would be done and covered under her insurance plan. Even after being told by our pathology that this would not be possible to do she kept digging until she got the answers she needed to get the job done. Without her dedication and persistence this would have fallen through the cracks and possibly caused more heartache in the future. Kelsey, you are awesome.
