I was admitted and my mother passed away December the previous day. The funeral for my mom was while I was still in the hospital. I mentioned to Kelsey I was sad I could not go to the funeral because I had a blood clot in my lung. Kelsey went out of the room without me knowing and called the tech guy from pastoral care. They brought in an IPad and asked me if I had a person at the funeral with an IPad. I said yes and I called them, and they were arranged for me to see the funeral. It was just like I was there. It brought tears to my eyes. Kelsey went above the call of duty and no one has done that for me before. She is an excellent, compassionate nurse. I was hoping she would be here this time. All the nurses are great, but she really stood out. She was extremely busy that day, but she took the time.
