Kelsey was nominated by a grateful family who had a scared little girl in the hospital for some respiratory issues. Kelsey made a bond with and got to know the little girl. She learned her favorite TV show was Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and played it on her phone so the little girl would be calm and she would be able to get an accurate assessment. She was very thorough with her discharge and education, ensuring the family was, in their words "150% comfortable" and ready to go home. The little girl was scared of everyone entering the room, except Kelsey. The family stated she was a "golden charm".
