This young, beautiful nurse went above and beyond for K. Spine surgery is very painful for a twelve-year-old. I watched them move together getting K comfortable. Kelsey knew all the tricks and ways. You would have thought she went through this herself.
When Kelsey was giving meds, she always asked what more she could do to help both of us, not just K. When I tried to help, K yelled "don't touch me—only Kelsey knows how to!" She talked very highly of her co-workers and what a great team they were.
Good things happen to good people.
