Kelsey Pitchford, RN
Kelsey burst into my room with a big hello and smile and I saw right then, she was special. She has pizzazz and she is a heck of a caregiver. Special bedside manner. She cares, listens, and is one special woman, nurse, and mother. It was destined that I was assigned to her unit. I was so scared and she was so positive and did everything to help me.

The staff on this floor love her. She’s an amazing team leader and team member. A patient has been admitted close to a month and is NPO over Thanksgiving needing something special done for them to celebrate Thanksgiving. Kelsey made turkey feathers and had all the staff put something cheerful on them. They were assembled on a hand-drawn turkey and then given to the patient. Kelsey is always thinking of little ways to brighten her patients' hospital stays.
