Every day that Kelsey is working it puts a smile on my face, knowing that she is here to help me understand the medical procedures and the inner workings of my health condition. She works well with my learning disabilities. She takes time to explain things in multiple ways and doesn't make me feel stupid for asking the same question multiple times. She is also really good at breaking the bad news. She is very comforting and even hugged me when I was crying from not knowing recent lab results and more tests needed to be done. I often see other staff members come to her with questions. She seems like she's an amazing leader. Today was an extra hard day and Kelsey went above and beyond to get the service dog to come in my room and help me feel better. She even listens to my long-winded stories without rolling her eyes and even asks to see the pictures related to the story which proves that she truly and genuinely cares about the patient outside of the hospital.
