My mom came to this hospital for a routine knee replacement. She came through the surgery and was doing great. Then sometime in the early morning around 4:30 am they found her lying on her stomach and she was blue and had no pulse. They sent her to SICU. My family and I were so distraught and fearful. We walked into her room and Kelsey was my mom's nurse. We could tell right away that she knew exactly what to do and that she cared about her patient and my family. She treated us so well and even sacrificed eating her lunch and taking breaks. She rarely left my mom's side. She worked with her all day to keep her blood pressure up. People like Kelsey make the world a better place.
