Kelsey Scott joined Chamberlain University in February of 2017 first teaching as a clinical VP. Prior to coming to Chamberlain, Kelsey worked as an RN and charge nurse at Banner University Hospital on the Labor and Delivery unit as well as adjunct faculty in a BSN program in both clinical rotations and skills labs. Kelsey graduated with a BSN from Arizona State University College and Nursing and Healthcare Innovation and Barrett Honors College. She received her MSN with an emphasis in education from Grand Canyon University.
Once Kelsey started at Chamberlain, she quickly transitioned to full-time faculty and started teaching the Pathophysiology course where she brings her own blend of interactive teaching and student encouragement in the classroom. One of her students described Kelsey's teaching as "she takes absolute gibberish and puts it into English, leaving us thinking, €˜Oh, that's so simple if you consider it that way! '"
In her almost 4 years with Chamberlain, Kelsey has continued her scholarship including national presentations on her innovative teaching methods and she advanced to the rank of Assistant Professor in June of 2020.
