My husband had a major stroke which affected his right side and speech and cognition. The first nurse we saw when we got to the stroke unit was Kelvin. His smile and pleasant way helped to calm me and my husband. There are many good nurses in this hospital but Kelvin is a super great nurse. He knows his job well and takes his work serious but at [the] same time makes his patients and family members feel at ease and reassured. He always looked out for us as a family unit. His concern was truly genuine. I would trust him with any of my family members. The patients who get his care are very fortunate indeed. He is a true caregiver in every sense. I feel blessed to have gotten to know him.
