My sister and I noticed that our dad was very at ease with Ken being around. He introduced Ken as his favorite night nurse. We knew Dad was in good hands. I noted that Dad smiled whenever Ken came in. Ken listened and heard our concerns through our tears for our Dad, and understood our goals. Thanks to the "beyond-the-box" thinking of Ken, we were able to transport Dad to Durango. We helped him reach his goals of seeing Mom, visiting with his friends, and going into a hospice home of a friend near his cabin before passing away peacefully 5 days later. My utmost thanks to Ken.
