Ken was the night nurse both of the nights that my son was admitted for a two-day seizure study. He stood out to me both nights especially the first night. I was at a point of a mental break down when he came in and introduced himself and offered to let me go to the vending machine. I got some stuff for my son who would not sleep or quit crying and for myself to eat.
Ken also helped me get my son to bed and talked to me as if he were a counselor to help me get out of the very overwhelmed state of mind I was in. He constantly went above and beyond to make sure that my son and I were comfortable. He was the most friendly, caring nurse I have ever met in the 2 1/2 years that my son and I have been in and out of hospitals.
