Kendal L. Kreuser

Kendal assisted a staff RN with performing thorough skin assessments on patients throughout the inpatient rehab floor. While in the room of a patient who had been experiencing fluctuating blood pressure readings, the client was ambulating and suddenly became weak, dizzy, and diaphoretic.

Kendal responded quickly by positioning a wheelchair behind the patient for safety. Vital signs were promptly obtained, and Kendal documented them to share with the primary nurse. Both the inpatient rehab staff and I were impressed with Kendal’s quick thinking and ability to remain decisive under pressure.
