Kendall Jurecka, BSN

Kendall has been a constant inspiration and motivator to both myself and others during our nursing program here at HBU. When I start to feel the pressure of nursing school and I see Kendall, she assures me that everything will be fine. I can feel the tension melting away because I know she is being genuine, sincere, and cares about my success. She has had my back through the years when I forgot my tote for lab or letting me borrow her drug book for several days. Kendall has sacrificed herself for others to ensure they are doing well but also maintains poise. Her compassion for her peers and patients is what makes her stand out from the rest. Kendall's dedication to Christ and her studies leaves a lasting impression on me and everyone she comes in contact with. I could not nominate someone more deserving of the DAISY Award than her. She exemplifies compassion, eagerness to help, and a dedication to her peers and patients. She will make a wonderful nurse!
