December 2024 Honoree
Kendall Srebalus, BSN, RN
My 90-year-old mother was hospitalized due to a fractured L1 and was in great pain. She was given Gabapentin and had terrible side effects, hallucinations, anxiety, anger, etc., completely opposite of her personality. She was extremely difficult to handle and mean to staff. Kendall was kind, patient, and professional with her. She was able to calm her and perform her duties. She was much more than a nurse! She was extremely caring and compassionate and the only one able to calm down and care for Mom. She was also so compassionate to me, knowing this was a difficult situation for us as a family. She is the REAL ideal nurse!
Thank you, Kendall, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
