Kendra, from the moment I was admitted, greeted me with warmth, her caring personality radiated calming in my room. My anxiety was through the roof because I had never been admitted into the hospital as an adult. She would constantly check on me and it never seemed like a chore for her, she was thrilled to help and even when I would be in panic mode, she would stay with me and talk to me and make me calm again. When I was feeling good, she would cheer me on, when I was feeling defeated, she would cheer me on. She would talk to me while administering the pain medicine and it would make me forget the pain. I felt like I didn't have to fear my diagnosis anymore in her presence. She just made me feel important. Everything about the way Kendra does her job is absolutely above and beyond and she does it with the most positive attitude, never once getting flustered or frustrated when I would panic about a shot or medication. She truly was the best nurse and kindest person.
