Kendra is the nurse any post-surgery patient would want to take care of them. I had avery unexpected surgery that ended with the removal of my ovary, discovering an ectopic pregnancy. Kendra, although knowing me outside of her job, gave me care that I will never forget. She was kind, caring, empathetic, and overall exceptional. She had to be there past her scheduled shift. You would have never known it. She made me feel safe and even took the time to go over all my discharge paperwork so I could leave as soon as I got to the post-op floor. She answered every question my husband and I had. She made us feel educated on everything that had just taken place. Everyone deserves the kind of care Kendra gave to me that night. UVMC is very lucky to have an exceptional nurse like Kendra on their team. Thank you!
