She truly went above and beyond in my care.
All of the staff were extremely wonderful during my stay. But Kendra, my nurse, went above and beyond the care.
She sat and talked to me for what seemed like hours. She shared stories, listened to the stories I had to tell, and she even made a personal connection, which made it feel like I was in a safe place. It’s never fun being in the hospital or having surgery, but she made my recovery so much better with her being so kind and so caring.
She is truly a great nurse. Thank you for all the work that she has done for me and all the support she gave me. She is truly, truly an outstanding nurse.

Kendra was the best nurse that I had during my extended stay for my hip surgery.
She was so energetic and knowledgeable about what needed to be done and would give me time frames for what was gonna happen and when it was gonna happen. She also took the time out of her day to sit and chat about life with me. She seemed genuinely interested in my life.
She made sure that my pain was being attended to. She wrote on the whiteboard when my next doses were, which helped me out because when therapy was planning on coming, I could take one beforehand and be ready. She gave me the motivation when I needed it and an ear to listen to my concerns and babbling.
She is truly an amazing nurse, and if I never break another bone or need surgery, I will come back to NMC and hope I get her to care for me again.

My nurse, Kendra, was so kind and knowledgeable. She took care of me while I had my knee done.
She took time to explain things for me and explained the process of how things would go once my block wore off. She also told me that typically day 2–3 post-op would be the worst days for pain since the block would be worn off by then.
I was feeling great after I came out of surgery with no pain, but she was right. It was nice that she told me so I wasn’t unprepared for when it did happen. She also got me a Diet Pepsi from the café since I was craving one so bad, and all the kitchen would bring me was a Diet Shasta.
She truly went above and beyond in my care. I will forever be thankful for her and everyone who helped me during my recovery. If I ever have to have my left knee done in the future, I hope I get Kendra as my nurse again.

Kendra always came into my room with a smile and was always there for me. I was in the hospital with everyone for what felt like forever (close to a month) for my leg.
Kendra would always make sure to try to help me manage my pain level. She would come into my room with a bright and cheery attitude and would make me feel so much better. Her energetic and caring soul was so nice to get to see whenever she was my nurse.
She is such a great nurse.

Kendra was my nurse while I was there for my knee surgery. She went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and even sat and talked for a while.
She took time to explain my medications that I was getting and also made sure that my pain was managed. She was so kind-hearted and made my surgery experience incredible.
