I came to the hospital after ten days on the antibiotic Levaquin which was originally prescribed for bronchitis that had not improved and developed into pneumonia. Not being able to sleep or breath is very scary. I had a terrible time with my IV line and blood was all over the bed and floor. Then an angel named Kendra came through my door. At the time, I was so discouraged. Kendra took out the old IV line in about 3 minutes and cleaned me up - such a comforting, kind person. She put in a new one and encouraged me to get out of bed and walk. Before long I felt like a new person. She came in several times checking on me and never looked as if any question was unimportant. She is truly a gem.

Thank you, Kendra, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
