In the days leading up to my Dad’s release, Kendra offered to help push my Dad to get out of bed to build his strength before an 8-hour drive, which required him to sit the entire time. He has been in bed for almost three months with little activity. As a result, sitting in his wheelchair would cause his blood pressure would decrease. With her pushing him, my Dad was able to sit in his chair for hours.
