Kendra Whalen, RN

Kendra had a middle-aged woman who was terminal and asked her what some of her final wishes were. The patient responded to marry her longtime boyfriend. Kendra quickly stepped in to organize an inpatient wedding from dress, make-up, hair, nails, cupcakes, decorations and more. Word spread fast throughout the hospital (that day) of Kendra's plan and the team worked together to try to accommodate patient's last wishes (for a reference, this was organized in ONE day). The next day, patient passed in a wedding dress after a pastor performed a ceremony in her room. The patient could comfortably pass knowing she had married the man of her dreams!
