Kendyl always goes above and beyond for her patients, but on this particular day, she showed extraordinary compassion to this particular patient. The patient was going to be transferred to an inpatient facility and was unaware the transfer was happening. Kendyl knew the patient was going to be upset, so she took the time to sit on the patient's bed and thoroughly explain what was going to happen. She then asked the patient what he wanted to eat before he left. He wanted pizza from a particular place. So Kendyl ordered him the pizza and sat with him, to ease his fears. This made such a difference for the patient and his family.
