Kennedy has been an active participant in the BSN Program since she began. She has shown a caring attitude for her fellow students and the patients she has been learning to care for along the way. Kennedy has been very active in numerous student committees, representing her fellow nursing students and dedicating her time to be their voice. Even though very quiet, she cares enough to stand up and be an influence for the things she believes in to make a difference. She is respectful to everyone in the classroom and clinical setting, creating a calm atmosphere where learning and service are provided. She checks on her fellow students to make sure they are doing well and lends a hand when they need it. This skill is essential to becoming an effective nurse and advocating for your patients. She has shown her leadership skills on numerous committees, particularly the Pinning Ceremony committee, and has taken on numerous duties. For these reasons, I am nominating Kennedy Brown for the DAISY Award.
