There was a patient who had been on our unit quite a while and knew she would be here through Christmas and always had the Hallmark Christmas movies on. She started getting frustrated about being here so long. Kennedy decorated her room for Christmas. Paper snowflakes, chains, and lights to make the patient's Christmas special. The patient loved it and told me it made her day. I think Kennedy is pretty special too.
