Ken is the only nurse in our hospital who is trained to do the manometry and 24-hour ph probes- (two very advanced technical diagnostic tests).
Ken not only is an expert with these tests but is always demonstrating compassion, professionalism, and patience with each patient. He is often seen showing each of these same characteristics with his patients. Today he took a long time with a teenage patient who had a very hard time tolerating these tests. He does this with every patient. I've seen him go above many times to ensure a positive outcome. He is a great asset to our hospital.
