Kenneth Drost, BSN, RN
Ken is one of our new nurses in the organization. The calling for nursing has truly been displayed in a person like Ken. He cares about his patients and his coworkers. One night, one of our staff members had an emergency. As Ken went past the employee bathroom, he heard a cry and gasping. He knocked on the door and asked who was in there. When the person told him who it was, he recognized that this person was in distress. He stayed by the door and talked to this person in his usual calm as Ken Drost manner and finally coaxed this person to come out of the room and go to the break room. He stayed with this person and delegated a nursing assistant to get some help. They initiated the proper resources to get more help. This staff member was having a crisis and Ken recognized it. This is only one of the many examples of how great Ken is. He is a team player and I am so grateful and appreciative that he is on Team CPCU.
