Kenneth Emilio, BSN, RN

Ken was nominated by the sister of a patient he cared for in the Emergency Department. She wrote a heartfelt letter to the hospital administration, recognizing him for the difference he had made for both her and her brother. She wrote, "It appeared that Kenneth was the more experienced of the two nurses who were attending to my brother. What struck me was the way in which Kenneth patiently guided S through the processes where they needed to work together to make sure that T was properly handled/moved physically so that they could clean him up and attend to some sores that he had developed. Kenneth was the kind of teacher/instructor all of us would appreciate having when trying to become familiar with a new task. Patience and gentleness are a strong part of who Kenneth is."
