Kenneth King, an Ambulatory Case Manager for Northeast Physician Hospital Organization is described as "an exceptional person" who "always goes above and beyond to help everyone out." His willingness to accept new projects, level of professionalism, and "ability to share his perspective and guidance whenever a question or problem occurs" are among a long list of the attributes expressed in his colleagues' nominations. In addition to providing direct patient care, Ken was instrumental in the social work pilot program, and orients new case managers and meets one-on-one with new PHO physicians to clarify the case manager role on an ongoing basis.
