Mr. Tuttle is a wonderful clinical instructor. He demonstrates enthusiasm for teaching, learning, and nursing that inspires and motivates students. He teaches students everything that they will need to know about nursing. He not only explains why things happen but he also provides students with hands on experiences. He believes students will not learn a skill unless they practice the skill themselves. He goes out of his way to provide valuable clinical experiences and gives students ?important life lessons? to help them improve their skills and become ready for success in their future careers. Mr. Tuttle is seen as a role model for students and is described as caring, confident, patient, and flexible. He demonstrates a comprehensive knowledge of the all-important nursing process and the collaborative efforts for the holistic care of patients. Because of his compassion, competence, and his high expectations of students, they feel they understand the profession and compassion of what being a registered nurse is all about.
