I would like to express my thanks to your staff and particularly Kenny. While my mother was in your care, his attention to detail was superior and made my family and I less anxious about her stay. He immediately took into consideration her condition, a broken neck, and her pediatric size. Kenny didn't skip a beat, he had a bed and medical equipment exchanged to accommodate her smaller size. Kenny's sincere kindness and care made an absolute difference in my mother's mental and physical well-being. She called him a "tiger" and he brought a big smile into the room, whenever he came in to take care of her. Kenny would stop in after his shift when he was in another area just to say, "Hi" and check on my mom.
Kenny knows that a positive attitude and the spiritual needs of the patient are a big part of the healing process. It becomes obvious to the patient and family when the skilled nurses at your facility go beyond the training they have received and inspire others in the profession to stretch out to higher levels of quality.

Our Dad has been in an out of the hospital for the past few months. While all our experiences with staff have been professional, and a very good experience, Kenny's care was exceptional.
We had recently brought my Dad in for treatment after a seizure. Dad was extremely fearful of going to the hospital as he has Parkinson's and had recent health battles. This time he was brought in on an ambulance ride and he made us promise to get him home, which was not realistic. On the day we brought him to hospice he told us, "You know what made it bearable for me in the hospital? That guy, you know, the nurse Kenny!"
Kenny's natural and sincere personal manner as well as his communication, put all of us and most importantly our Dad, at ease and confident. Our Dad truly received the best care possible. I saw Kenny's care and compassion many times; he is a gem and he represents Sanford exceptionally.
