I really want to take the time to recognize this amazing RN! I am so thankful we were able to have him a few times as our dad’s nurse. Kenny was the best RN my dad had during his two weeks he was admitted. He took such amazing care of my dad as if he were his family member.

He took the time to get to know my dad, like where he worked and what he enjoys doing. He made eye contact with my dad; he would talk to him instead of looking at the computer screen. He would always come to check up on all of us and answer any questions we had. We saw him more than any other staff member.

When my dad was in a procedure, I waited in his room, and Kenny kept coming in and giving me updates and always asking if I needed anything. He made us feel like a partner in his care. He is such a caring and thoughtful RN.

One day, my sister and I waited a long time for the doctor to come talk to us, but by the time he came, we had left for the day. Kenny knew how important it was for us to hear what the doctor had to say about the next steps; therefore, Kenny called us so we could hear the conversation. Kenny did not have to do that, but he did, which my sister and I are so thankful he did.

This nurse deserves so much more! Thank you for making my dad’s stay as comfortable as it could be. He exceeded our expectations!
