Kenyatta is an excellent nurse. She is always seeking to gain more knowledge, being the first to sign-up for CEU courses, and always inviting others to attend with her. She takes initiative and has exceptional leadership skills. We needed a better system for managing visitors on our unit; Kenyatta wrote a unit policy and provided them in multiple languages and personally, handmade visitor passes (two per room) to accommodate the L & D, post-partum, and special care nursery units. This system has brought order to our visitors' hours and the visitors have been complying. It is for this reason that I believe she is a true DAISY Nurse.
