When the DAISY Award was introduced to us, without hesitation, I immediately thought of Keona Phillips. She exemplifies all the qualities of a DAISY Honoree. Keona's commitment to nursing is so inspiring. She comes to work every day with an ambition to provide the utmost care to her patients and always lends a helping hand to her fellow nurses. Keona is always the first person in your patient's room when you need help and is quick to help manage the situation with ease and comfort. She has an ability to convey all appropriate and necessary information to her patient's family, effortlessly. I am always amazed when working with Keona, not only for her selfless attitude, but more so for her never ending strive to provide great care.
