Keondra Brown, RN

Keondra was working with a patient who was getting a trach. The patient and her family wanted her to return home before her birthday. Keondra spent several days calling multiple DME Companies asking for charity supplies for this patient. She also worked with the financial supervisor to assist the patient's daughter in getting a Medicaid application completed. The patient's Medicaid was approved, and the patient was able to go home with her needed supplies. The patient did transfer to another unit, and due to Keondra's efforts, this assisted the receiving CCM.
